" ... Leopold, the only boy of this year’s Resin Collection, is distinctly well behaved.  His "eyes look attentively and trustingly at the onlooker.  Leopold is my special darling! A little boy one most of all would like to take by his tiny hands and take him home to his Mum. He is clad in jeans with embroidered floral appliqué and proudly wears his white cotton shirt with coloured buttons and a Hildegard Gunzel label!  Perkily he has pulled the peak of his dark-blue baseball cap, with HG label as well, over his left ear. Leopold is wearing white cloth shoes . He is not a boy who likes to get dirty, rather a little shy. This is shown in the light-blue rabbit he is carrying with him."

One specialty of  Leopold  is that his arms are completely made of resin, with ball joints in the shoulders like the classic play dolls.

Long blonde human hair with a plaited pigtail and bow with pompoms. She has Blue glass eyes (Lauschaer).  She is wearing a white cotton dress with smocked embroidery, white linen trousers, pink leather shoes, and a pink cotton hat with flower applique.  She also comes with little elephant

" ... Tonja is a really cute one. She is the ‘doll’ among the dolls of this year’s Resin Edition. On her blond genuine hair with the plaited pigtails she wears a huge pink hat, turned up in front, with pink and light-green flowers, under which she is peeping out a bit defiantly. But she really does not have a reason for doing so: with her fashionable white clothing, she is wearing a white cotton dress with smocked, colourful embroidery ,beneath it white linen trousers and a cute knitted waistcoat with floral appliqué. Tonja looks very nice. Her leather shoes are pink, as well as the little elephant she is carrying. Tonja will surely conquer the hearts of those of my collectors who especially love ‘dollish’ dolls.

Cornelia's  has blonde human hair, pigtails with white bows and Alice band.  Dark blue glass eyes.  She is wearing a white cotton blouse with smocked embroidery.  Dark-blue cotton trousers, a white cotton blouse with smocked embroidery and a knitted waistcoat with floral appliqué. Black patent shoes. Cornelia comes with Fantasy Dachshund.

A message from Hildegard ... Joy! That, my dear friends and collectors of my Resin Editions, is what I feel when I see how much you took my dolls to your heart; ‘Joy’ is therefore also the proper motto for my Edition in Resin 2009.  It is already the fourth Resin Collection I have offered and I think that this time once again I meet the taste of my collectors. The dolls really are charming! 

I myself am completely delighted by my new resin models; they exude the pure joy of life that communicates itself to every on looker. I am always fascinated to watch what happens between you and my dolls when you stand facing each other. Humans and dolls look at each other – and then something clicks and a smile, mostly turning into a grin, passes over the people’s faces.

I have the impression that the dolls of my Edition in Resin 2009 develop, each for itself, a goodly amount of charm one cannot evade. Nonetheless, each doll is a character of her own and appeals to those people who are attracted by her, in a special, individual manner.

Because you, my collectors, know that so too each of my resin dolls is an original Hildegard Günzel model for which the same high quality standards are valid as for the dolls of my Classic Line.  Each doll was completely designed, modeled and formed as a character by me, including the clothing I personally design for each doll.  I only use high-quality materials: genuine hair for the wigs, mouth-blown glass eyes from Lauscha, genuine leather, wool, cotton wool, velvet and silk taffeta. Because only quality is long-lasting and survives the times – and I wish that you enjoy your Hildegard Günzel doll all your life!
